About the Pacifica
Family wellness across cultures, generations, and configurations. Whatever family looks like in your life, we work with that family.
Family health for Vancouver's Filipino and Chinese communities — physicians, counsellors, and dietitians sharing one chart and one philosophy.
Why we practice this way
Half our patients' charts used to read 'language barrier' where the real note should have been 'system barrier.' Language-concordant care removed it. The medicine was never the hard part — the door was.

Our clinicians
Six clinicians work out of our Vancouver clinic — family physicians, a nurse practitioner, and a dietitian. Language-concordant care is the default, not the exception.
We offer family medicine, counselling, and dietetics with language-concordant care. Most visits are covered by MSP; counselling and dietetics are billed directly or through extended benefits.

How intake works
Most clients are matched with a clinician within a week. Here's how the process works.
01
Submit an intake form
Takes about 8 minutes. We ask what's bringing you in, the support you're looking for, any preferences around clinician background or modality, and your availability. You're not committed to anything by submitting it.
Average completion: 8 min · Online or by phone
02
We review and reach out within 48 hours
Our intake coordinator reads every form personally and responds within two business days with a clinician match or two — based on cultural fit, the work you've described, and availability.
Response window: 1–2 business days
03
Free 20-minute consultation call
Before your first paid session, you'll have a no-cost video call with the clinician you've been matched with. If it's not the right fit, we'll match you again. No charge, no awkwardness.

First session, on your schedule
