About the Diaspora
A multi-practitioner clinic that doesn't ask diaspora clients to choose between cultural understanding and clinical excellence. We deliver both, under one roof.
A physician-led collective serving Toronto's Caribbean and South Asian communities — primary care that doesn't require explaining where you're from.
Why we practice this way
Each of us spent years being the only clinician of colour in our practices — the one every diaspora client got referred to. We built the clinic where that isn't a workaround; it's the model.

Services & approach
We offer individual therapy, couples and family work, and a small number of group programs through the year. Most clinicians work within an integrative framework — CBT, narrative therapy, EMDR, somatic, and culturally-rooted approaches.

How intake works
Most clients are matched with a clinician within a week. Here's how the process works.
01
Submit an intake form
Takes about 8 minutes. We ask what's bringing you in, the support you're looking for, any preferences around clinician background or modality, and your availability. You're not committed to anything by submitting it.
Average completion: 8 min · Online or by phone
02
We review and reach out within 48 hours
Our intake coordinator reads every form personally and responds within two business days with a clinician match or two — based on cultural fit, the work you've described, and availability.
Response window: 1–2 business days
03
Free 20-minute consultation call
Before your first paid session, you'll have a no-cost video call with the clinician you've been matched with. If it's not the right fit, we'll match you again. No charge, no awkwardness.

First session, on your schedule
Most first sessions are booked within 7–10 days of intake. Subsequent sessions are at whatever cadence works for you and your clinician.
