Priya Sharma

Priya Sharma is a registered physiotherapist with over 11 years of clinical experience specializing in pelvic health, postnatal recovery, and sports rehabilitation. Born in Punjab and trained in Toronto, she brings cultural fluency to a clinical specialty where most practitioners don’t share their clients’ lived experience.

Her practice centres on South Asian women navigating postnatal recovery, pelvic floor concerns, and chronic pain — areas where cultural taboo often delays care for years. Priya creates a clinical space where conversations about the body don’t require translation between English clinical language and lived cultural understanding.

Priya holds advanced certifications in pelvic floor physiotherapy (Levels I-III), visceral manipulation, and perinatal care. She works primarily with women aged 25-55, but maintains a small caseload of athletes and chronic pain clients across all demographics.

Session formats: In-person at the Mississauga clinic (60-min initial assessment, 45-min follow-ups), or virtual consultation for non-hands-on cases. Insurance billing supported through most major Canadian insurers.

Tamara Jain

Tamara Jain is a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO #007421) with 13 years of clinical experience specializing in intergenerational trauma, identity formation, and family-systems work. Her practice centres on second-generation Indo-Caribbean and South Asian clients navigating the space between inherited expectations and personal identity.

Born in Trinidad to an Indo-Caribbean family and raised in Toronto, Tamara brings lived experience to the work of cultural identity in clinical practice. Her clients are often the first in their families to seek therapy — and the first to translate that decision back to parents and elders who didn’t have the same access.

Tamara holds advanced training in relational psychotherapy, internal family systems (IFS), and trauma-informed practice. She works primarily with adults aged 25-45, with a small caseload of late-adolescents navigating university transitions and identity questions.

Session formats: In-person at the Yonge & Eglinton office (50-min sessions) and virtual via secure video. Insurance billing supported through most major Canadian insurers. Sliding scale available for a limited number of clients each quarter.

Reshma Patel

Reshma Patel is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) practicing in Brampton with a focus on anxiety, family systems, and intergenerational dynamics in South Asian families. She has nine years of clinical experience.

Born in Mumbai and raised in the GTA, Reshma practices in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. Her clients are often navigating the specific anxiety that comes from being responsible for multiple generations — for aging parents, for younger siblings, for the expectations of both worlds at once.

Reshma integrates cognitive behavioural therapy, family-systems work, and culturally adapted anxiety treatment. Her practice serves South Asian and Indo-Caribbean clients across the GTA, with particular attention to women navigating multi-role family responsibility.

Session formats: In-person at the Brampton office (50-min sessions) and virtual. Bilingual English/Hindi/Punjabi available. Insurance billing supported.

Anita Raja

Anita Raja is a Registered Psychotherapist with over two decades of clinical work practicing in Mississauga. Her focus is depression, family systems, and the space between generations in South Asian — particularly Punjabi — communities.

Born in Punjab and raised in the GTA, Anita practices in English and Punjabi. Her clients span three generations of South Asian families, and she often works with multiple family members across her caseload (with appropriate clinical boundaries). The depth of her community connection shapes the relational quality of her practice.

Anita integrates psychodynamic depth work, family-systems therapy, and culturally adapted depression treatment. She maintains a stable, mature caseload and is selective about new client intake to preserve depth of work.

Session formats: In-person at the Mississauga office (50-min sessions) and virtual. Bilingual English/Punjabi available. Insurance billing supported.
